Dr. Carleigh Sturge grew up on the Eastern coast of Newfoundland and has enjoyed playing in Calgary since 2018 with her partner, dog, and twin toddlers.
While studying Kinesiology at Western University, Carleigh’s curiosity for how the body operates was sparked. The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine provided the support and tools to combine wellness of the spirit with the science of the body to create a balanced approach to care.
Carleigh is a general practitioner, with special interests in fertility support, birth work through doula care, and postpartum repletion. She stands by food as medicine (Family Supper 101) and starting with the basics to identify root causes. She believes in empowered health care, and that an ounce of prevention is truly worth a pound of cure.
Dr. Sturge is an affiliate of the Calgary Doula Association, and a member in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA), and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
